Latest Fair News!

It was a hard decision to make, but we are postponing our 70th Anniversary Fair to August 20-22, 2021.

August 14-16, 2020--Plan to attend the Kenai Peninsula Fair Rodeo, an outdoor affair.  Friday afternoon is Barrel Racing. Saturday is the Junior Rodeo in the morning, followed by the Main Event Rodeo in the afternoon.  Sunday finishes with a Ranch Rodeo in the morning, and High School Rodeo in the afternoon.

Salmonfest is cancelled for 2020 due to the difficulty in keeping everyone safe in a large venue event. For people with campsites reserved for Salmonfest, you can sit on it for 2021, for the Tenth Anniversary year, or you can ask for a refund by emailing  Salmonfest will be August 6-8, 2021.

Remember, the fairgrounds is available year round for a multitude of opportunities- parties, meetings, anything you can think of. Just contact us if you are interested!

The Ninilchik Thrift & Gift is closed for now. Follow our Facebook page at for updates.
